This year, in honor of Black History Month, I wanted to dedicate my posts to the people of my community while educating those who are open to learn. I’ve decided to touch on three topics, while using personal stories on each topic. I’ll be touching on Mental Health with my inserts for “Introducing you to seven year old me;” Natural Hair, while giving insight on the things I’ve learned since I started my journey of falling in love with my natural hair; and lastly, each week, I’ll be purchasing from black owned businesses, reviewing the product while sharing exactly why you should go shop with them.
